The dining room is spacious and will easily seat plenty of people for that meal gathering. Toward the back of the house is a lovely modern well-appointed kitchen. The Perfect Location
We’re conveniently situated in the foothills of the White Mountains and close to everything. Many Heritage Inn guests frequently stay with us in conjunction with a visit to the Snowflake Arizona Mormon Temple, numerous national parks and historical sites, or to play golf on one of 10 golf courses nearby. Antiquing, Snowflake’s historical home walking tour, hiking, biking, rock-hounding, birding and fishing are all great year-round activities. Winter time activities include, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing and sledding to name a few.
Snowflake is located in east-central Arizona, 30 miles south of Holbrook on State Route 77. The Mogollon Rim to the south and the White Mountains to the west form a barrier that protects the community from severe weather and also creates a semi-arid climate. Named after its founders Mormon apostle Erastus Snow and William Flake, Snowflake is at an elevation of 5,600 feet in a broad, lush valley fed by Cottonwood and Silver Creeks and lies in a surrounding area of great contrasts: barren desert to the north and heavily treed mountain ranges immediately to the south.
